County Tribute Monument
Commissioned by Maricopa County in 2004, this slate and flagstone monument was built around the shape of the largest county in the country. The actual detail of the shape of the county is cut in a heavy, copper plate with etched graphics and text. The front surface has 6-9 locations for public service men and women who have died in the line of duty.
